You know that sticky stuff you can get that you stick to the windows of your house so that burglars can't smash the windows?

Well... could you stick it to the windows of your car so that burglars can't smash the windows of the car in an attempt to steal it?

gOOD QUESTION. i HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT STUFF LIKE THAT LATELY TOO.
i REPLACED MY WINDOW WITH GENUINE nISSAN s15 GLASS AFTER NO OTHER COULD BE FOUND.
$700!
NO JOKE.
i POSTED EVERYWHERE IN AN ATTEMPT TO FIND SOMETHING 2ND HAND.
Caps.. sorry... *blush*

I think that security film is just to stop the glass shattering into a million pieces when broken. I am pretty sure it won't keep the glass in the door if you just pushed it in. It would just go in in one piece, instead of all the little bits ( That are still rolling around in the bottom of my door. I really have to get them out.. )
There really is a BIG market for someone to make replacement glass out of something other than glass.
Maybe my first million....
*goes to research plexiglass, lexen, bulletproof glass.. etc..*

Josh.

I think some company does make auto security tint, but its pretty pointless. It just comes off in one big piece as mentioned, or so ive heard.

It would be pretty harsh in an accident too I would imagine?
