R31 ecu vs R32 ecu

Anyone know if there is any difference between a R31 (nics) & R32 (eccs) computer?

My mate has some problems with his R31 at the moment & his mechanic is thinking it might be his ECU.

I'm thinking we'll have a hard time trying to find a R31 ecu.

They use totally different loom connectors so regardless of anything else would require a complete rewire in that area.

Shouldn't be that hard to find a NICS ECU, try SSS auto and the other importers.
