lancer gsr diagnostic

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the 4wd gsr lancers have a diagnostic mode, how to use it and what the codes are any help would be much appreciated

this is for the CC Series GSR (1.8L turbo 4wd)

I put the LED across the two terminals while the car is running and got continuous flashing does this mean normal?

put the LED across the 2 terminals (you sound like you know which ones) then just turn the ignition on.....sounds like you are getting the 7 short flashes..which is OK

Yeah, the two variants are 92 - late '94, and late 94 on. The later models don't have this connector populated.

if it's the same as older mitsu - don't start the car, just switch it to "on"
