View Full Version : AP engineering Power FC
Ok I have heard there are 3 versions of the power fc, 2 by apexi and one by ap engineering. Can anyone tell me all the differences between the 3 and weather its possible to purchase the ap engineering version?? At the moment I have found a dealer who well sell me the pro version, what does this have over the normal version? I hope its map support but could be getting my hopes up.
hittin the FC market now Ben? ;)
Maybe, but well not be a standard power fc.
What car ? Must be S14 or R33 judging by the popularity of these.
There is no AP engineering version for these, they cater for the models left out of the std range.
PRO version costs just a couple of hundred more.
It has a few more features, I am yet to find out about the PRO and MAP sensor.
I found out tonight pro does launch control and map sensor support, but to what extent, not sure. Guy was talking about apexi map sensor used for idle, but still used z32 air flow meters, so go figure. Also heard it has more map points compared to standard.
I remember hearing on the grapevine (so take it with a grain of salt) that the AP Engineering Power FC Pro/SPL version wasn't really available for general purchase.
Of course, it's not what you know, it's who..
/me wink wink in chris' direction.
damn, i cant find any info on the web about this Pro version. Ben u sure it's not the HKS version???
Anyone can buy one.
From me if you like.
The PRO version CPU costs retail 8000 yen more as you can see :

They do them for the GTi-R so it's not just NA.
Greenline seem to have them available.
the d-jetro version supports MAP sensor, not sure about the AP engineering version tho. Have a look on the greenline website as it has a little description on each model.
fark..... two year old thread.
