Hi, im building a sr20det bluebird wagon, and i want to get it approved.

but i have a problem.

Should i try get the engine passed at standard sr20 form. Or with all my new parts on it and run boost at say 6 or 7 psi so it doent have too much power.

My real concern is passing the immesions test with all the new parts.

The parts im putting on (if it matters)
HKS stage 2 cams
HKS ajustable cam wheels
HKS 2mm head gasket
HKS external gate
KKK K26 turbs
Blitz 850 cc injectors
Bosch 044 fuel pump

with those parts on would i have a hope of passint he emmisions test? or dont bother and get it passed as the stock sr20det?

thanks

how old is the bluebird wagon? cause as long as its already been engineered you only have to pass the emmisions tests for that yr....

I only know the laws in NSW & Qld, and in NSW you have to pass the rules that pertain to the engine (it being newer than the car).
You'd better talk to a local engineer, and if they don't think you can do what you want to do then talk to another engineer; they don't all agree with each other, but once any engineer has passed your car then your car is registerable (as long as it stays in the same condition/setup as when you got it engineered).

As long as you have all the factory fitted emmisions stuf, ie computer, cat, then you don't have to worry about individual testing. Leave it stock for now (well the fuel pump doesn't matter) and do the mods after it is engineered. It will save hassles.
