Where do i buy 1500 grade wet`ndry, most harware stores only bloody have 1200 grade, and i need finer to start to cut back my car...
or would 1200 b ok???
Ben
automotive paint stores should have 1500 grade wet n dry, but try 2000 grade before going onto the harsher stuff. How bad is the paint that needs to be cut back? very orange peeled look?

theres the paint as it is now
very ruff and a bit peely...
So it's just been resprayed? How many coats have been applied? To be on the safe side i'd start on 1800-2000 grit. It'll take some time, but it'll be worth it.
1200 or 1500 to start should be fine. How many coats do you have? If you have only a few start @ 1500. If you have 8 or more go the 1500 to be safe.
Make sure you finish off with 2000.

if its that rough....ie that much peel... u can get away with 800 for big flat surfaces like the roof. Make sure tho as soon as there's only a little peel left that you stop. this way u can switch to 1200 and get rid of the last bit of peel and the scratches caused by the 800.
. but donot go near an edge at all!!!!!!!!!!
wait until u get 1200 of 1600 until u go near an edge.
i have done it this way b4.
