I've heard a couple of people recently talk about a Toyota Seca (maybe 10-15years old) with a 1.6l engine fitted with a 20 valve head that supposedly developed around 120kw of power.

Does anyone know any details about this car... ie. was it a factory build?, available in Australia?, what mods were done to achieve this level of power level (sounds exaggerated to me! I would've thought 120bhp to be more likely - not kw)

Any performance figures available? 0-100, 1/4 mile etc

The Japanese 20v was rated by Toyota at around 120kW, but, they must have really small kW over there...

Have a look at www.club4ag.com (http://www.club4ag.com) for a lot more information.

Yup, the silvertop's dyno at 143hp or 106.7kW on an accurate engine dyno.

Yes, this motor exists, but that's only alleged power output - like Bill said they're quite uninsppiring. You're better off going for the supercharged 16v version which are often cheaper to pick up anyway.

Hell, the a lot of the atmo 16v ones are barely a shade behind the 20v's for power output... available in 86-100kW versions.

the 4AGZE is definitely the pick of the bunch :)
