Power ant stuffed????

Since I have had my VN the power ant hasent worked,sometimes it go's up half way,sits there for about 1 min then go back down again....
Other times it go's up then drops down..:wtf:
I just put a new deck in and hooked the wire up for it but its still doing it.

Whats the go?

Maybe it needs some grease, and has a protection mechanism to retract if it meets resistance. Open'er up! :)

check the earth at the antenna under the guard.... they get loose and rust...might need to renew the earth connection?
