gday,
My old man is about to purchase a liberty b4 and hes trying to find some good upgrades for it. We noticed that APS/Unichip have an upgrade which gives a good gain (on their dyno sheet), just wondering if any1 has had any experience with it or could suggest a better management system for the B4.

Cheers
Clay

Assuming it's ADR approved ('cos I wouldn't fork out for it if it's not), does the APS system fix that flat spot between turbos? 'Cos if it doesn't, and your father was planning on spending what I'd guess is a fair amount of money, then is it worth investigating what others might have done about changing the turbo system somehow?

yes this ECU is supposed to fix the swap-over mid range turbo lag problem. apparently after the ecu is fitted it will be a seamless transition between turbos.

My friend just bought a B4 and is planning on getting a Unichip. He spoke to one of the guys at Bob Romanos who recently fitted one to a B4 and it *supposedly* gave good gains and got rid of the lag between the turbos. I'll let you know how it goes when my mate gets his done.
