VR4 Intercoolers

How good are the VR4 coolers that you can pick up at Jap importers for around $450?

I am just looking at getting some thing bigger then a supra cooler.

pretty good flow/cooling for their size. they come with small diameter pipes (40mm) which restrict flow a bit but slightly bigger pipes can be welded on easily enough.
what sort of motor is it going on?

It's gping onto a cordia ofr now but am peforming a VR4 conversion in the future and plan to use the same cooler
