Like my previous post, I have been considering doing a CA18DET conversion on my 90 Nissan Pulsar Q...
However, today I came across a guy who is selling the following bot-on kit for $1,250 and thought that this may be a cheaper and easier substitute to the CA18DET. Details are as follows:
kit includes:
custom manifold
garret gt17 ball bearing turbo
intake piping
extra injector
microtech mt8 + wiring loom + handset
2 1/4 exhaust pipe which should fit straight to a
stock n13s flexable connection
pod air filter and 3" pipe to turbo
oil and water supply and return lines
sump with connection for oil drain
What does everybody think??/ Also would I be able to run an intercooler with this setup to boost the PSI slightly?
Can anybody explain the difference between a Ball Bearing Turbo and a normal Turbo? if there is a diffence that is... I haven't had much experience with Turbo as you can tell... :(
Any comments or suggests would be a great help..
