Gearbox is out of a VS commy it's the 4L60-E. Im using a VDO digital spedo.
arhh thats what i thought, are you still using the 4L60E speed sensor?.
heres a beta foto of the engine bay:)

SWEET.... :D
Which is the "retro" bit; the VB or the V6?
*grin*
:D
how much do you know about cars?
what do you do for a living?.
I've got to set things straight with ya forg.
Your inexperienced replys about RTA engineers is a joke, you know very little about what advantages wide tyres have.
Where did you get your ideas from?,it makes no sense.
Do you have any experience in automotive engineering?.
Now this may seem blunt but this is who I am,thats how i got the name Jaws.
oh yeah wide tyres in the wet do loose traction in the wet if they are not directionals.

Well, your whole style seems somewhat joke-like. I'd be willing to believe someone else about that, but certainly not you.

Just remind me again, who got ripped to shreds over that for being wrong? I don't recall it as being me ... oh that's right, it was you!

No, which sounds to me to be about as much as you have.

(moderator comments over with now)
Forg, be nice to the newbies... - as for your comment about driving a Commodore - easy up there - remember - YOU DRIVE A VOLVO - :D
Jaws, just had a look over your website -
I have to take my hat off to you, there ain't no way in hell that I would have gone to the trouble that you have. Some people my laugh and say why bother (I must admit, - I did), but it's blokes like you that make car shows woth going to because you havn't just bolted on a set of wheels, lowered it to the deck and painted it a different colour.
Hope things become a bit easier for you from here whith the rest of the conversion and RTA approval etc.
Thank you very much southo,
It's nice to get some appreciation for all the hard work done, even though it may be just a commodore.
Getting the engineers approval is a breeze as I went to my old boss who is an RTA approved engineer and gave me the guidelines on what needs to be done before I started. That pod filter needs to go too it's a defect.A VT standard air box is replacing it.
It was never intended to do the car up to this point, all I wanted was a comy that ran on unleaded petrol.
Unfortunately there seems to be alot of jap crap supporters here:( they dont wana know ya if you dont drive a rexy or a skyline.
Only if they opened their eyes a bit more.
I used to own a dato 1600 witha SR20DET out of a S14,installed by myself,it went hard and blew most eights away. This soon became boring as it was uncomfortable driving interstate in it and rather dangerous going around bends in the wet.(too much sideways action):worship:
