I was thinking of going for a ADV22F front brake upgrade on my SSS, as there are the same brakes as the GTiR and the N15 SSS, and are a straight bolt on.
I was wondering if anyone suggests a different model or make, also a 2 pot or 4 pot setup etc.
I was planning on getting a set of DBA rotors (only slotted) for the front.
Suggestions, reccomendations. Anyone else upgrade the brakes on their cars. The pulsat is a 4x100 Stud pattern.

You could try getting an undrilled DBA 909 R32 GTS disc and getting your stud pattern drilled in it. Location spigot is the same 68mm. The disc is 280mm diameter.
Setting up a calliper may require a bit more effort.

yeah i don't want to muck around too muhc this time, just want to bolt on (plug and play) so to o speak . . so that's why i wanted toe gfo for the AD22VF calipers and a set of DBA slotted rotors . . i don't want to get cross drilled rotors, because if they cool donw too quick they crack, and down here in tassie it gets cold, so after a good thrash i don't want to feck them up . .
How does that sound dbasteve ?
any other suggestions. I think the AD22VF calipers can fit 260mm rotors ??
actually the calipers for the N15 front from dba are 257, a little bigger, and a lot thicker thant standard N14.
just after throughts and ideas from others ?
thanks.

Hi,
I've got slotted DBA901's and Bendix Ultimates on my GTI-R and for hard street driving there great.
For track work they are a bit undersized and therefore get too hot.
For a SSS with minor mods i'd say they'd be more than adequate.
Cheers

The best you can do for plug and play would be the DBA 901 slotted. Slotted rotors can take a bit more abuse than the others.

didn't know if swearing was allowed . .
Cool I want some bigger calipers and bigger brakes, and the AD22VF seem the easiest upgrade, alrighty then, might have to get some prices on rotors and calipers.
Thanks.
You are after a set of GTI-R brakes?
I have a GTI-R front cut and have the brakes plus many other parts.
Send me an email if you are interested and we will negotiate a price.
