VT Twin Piston vs HSV Twin Piston

I see that the vt twin psiton calipers arent rated to highly here, however i noticed someone say "thats why hsv throw them away"

What about the upgraded brakes on the vt - vx clubsports - still twin piston calipers, but running 330mm rotors, these calipers are generally black with hsv stamped in them.
Are these different calipers or the same with modified brackets.

I am requiring a brake upgrade on a project vc commodore.
Ideas and thoughts on the above would be appreciated

The VT caliper is different from the black R8 caliper.
The VT suits a 296x28 disc whereas the R8 suits 330x32 disc
They have different mountings. The R8 caliper uses a bracket to bolt to stub and the VT bolts directly to the original mounts.
