Ok,
i am not an expirienced audio fella, but i bought a new head unit (pioneer) for my N13 Pulsar.
Before i go f*ckin around i was wonder if some one could run me through how to get the factory one out before i pull all the wrong pieces out.

if its the stock philips item theres a bit more to it than pulling one out and putting one in.

I dunno Chris-- the pull the stocker out, put a sony one in worked fine for me... :)

Depends on the nissan you have, i remember a few years ago doing my pulsar vector was hell. They glued the thing in, it took several hours, lots of bad language and some serious elbow greese (and a hammer) to get the thing out.
Thankfully the new nissan's are slightly better, the r32 is bliss, the r33 is a bit of a pain as you have to pull off the steering wheel column and the dash surrounds.

u need to use the existing bracket from the philips headdeck
the pioneer one doesnt fit. undo all the screws around the cirarette lighter adn stuuf adn pull the face off. also use the existing plugs adn match the wires up, make sure u connest the memory wire up to the battery

this is an old thread...
n13 isnt a wire up a run affair. the spekers need to be rewired.

my stocker speakers were fine. put 6 inch vdo in the back. stocks r clarion
