View Full Version : Autronic experts - problem under light accel

Howdy, hoping someone might be able to offer some assistance with a problem i'm experiencing with Autronic on 3t-gte engine.

Under very light acceleration, around 3 - 5% it seems to lean right out and car jerks around. Played with the fuel maps but by turning up the fuel in this area it does not seem to help much which makes me think under this slight acceleration it is picking up settings from another map, or compensation page or something?

Under no acceleration, costing down a hill it is fine, but soon as you apply a few % or accel it starts jerking and carrying on.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Joel

Is it throttle mapped or pressure mapped if you have the latest software you can follow the engine on the maps in real time

What about acceleration enrichment???

Your engine will be map sensed?? But do you run a TPS to utilise the above stated feature, or is the 3T a switch type TPS??

Try checking your throttle position sensor. Sometimes they wear away at low end of throttle opening because this is the most commonly used part.
If your engine has two throttle position sensors you might be able to swap them. I do this with the 1uzfe because it has a sensor for the traction control.

It is running MAP, with a variable type TPS (0 - 5v), not the 3t switching type.

TRD Kingswood, is that acceleration fuel maximum limit? or something else? got the software sitting here and trying to work it out. cheers

Your fuel enrichment should have default settings but you might already played with them but you did say that it is at light throttle about 4-5%if thats right then adjust main fuel map

Do you have any idea what the A/F ratio is when it happens

does the Autronic have a setting to calibrate the tps?
try that...might not be calibrated.
