View Full Version : Wiring a tacho run shiftlight for R32

can anyone please helpme. i need to wire a shiftlight into an r32 gts-t for a amate of mine, but i dont know which wire from the ECU to tap into. this tacho cant be run from the crank angle sensor, and getting to the back of the gauge cluster is playing with fire if i do the wrong thing


any thoughts....

Pin no. 7 is the tacho signal on the ECU.

That is the pin which is 4 to the left of the centre bolt in the connector on the top row when looking at the back of the plug (wires side).

I don't know if your tacho will accept the signal, but that is the place to start.

Oh - the pin outs on the R32 ECU's are the same as the R33's, except the R32's don't have Variable Cam Timing.
