well the rca's are the connection so they can connect up to the amp. The reason your sub is reciven trble through, can be well?
B4 i go on, Do u have an amp connected to the sub or is it runnin of the headunit?
But yeh if the sub is runnin of the amp prob the high pass filter and low pass filter is not set right, and your frequency's. generally it is u put it down on low pass filter, and low freq for ur sub and no or not much vocal will go through. Just change the switch left and right, and see which has less. (somethin like this)

are you sure that is what the rcas are for?
Chances are you have 3 rca outputs, front, rear and sub. Sub should already be low passed based on a setting from your HU.

Low passing as stated above is just allowing the lower frequencys to pass through to the speaker. Read your amp manual carefully, and low pass your sub at 100Hz, then adjust it around this level (quite possible different to this!) until you get a sound you like.
