How much are you looking to get for it?

I am looking for an VN, VP commodore at the moment, but not looking to spend that much.

how much are u willing to pay???? i am willing to take stuff off to make it more affordable for people. i am chasing $11500 as the car sits with 6 months rego and a rwc...... am willing to take wheels stereo etc out ...... am also negitiable on price as car sits now........it may sound like alot but it is a very tidy example of what a vn can look like in factoryish form........ let me know what u are thinking...... may accept car as full or part payment.....

Sorry there is no way I would pay anything like that for a vn, regardless of how tidy it is, its just not worth it (in my opinion at least). I would only be prepared to offer $5-6K

for example just had a flick throught the trading post and there is a VN SS V8 there for $8k, which is something that I would consider, but would still prefer a non SS as they are generally cheaper.

yeah i understand that zero but in reality i think that my car would be in alot better nick than the previously mentioned vn ss cause what do u really think u are gonna get for 8K ...... there are always idiots around that sell shit too cheap ....thats the biggest down fall in the trading post ....... and if u were to put the vn ss and my car side by side i think i know whick one u would rather......(keeping in mind that i have not seen the ss aswell).......thats just my thoughts ....but keep in mind that 90% of ss are just a V8 exec with a kit....... no power options at all..... mine is fully optioned.......AND FOR 5-6K U ARE NOT GONNA GET SH@T !!!!!!!!!!.......i am not trying to justify the price ....just trying to get u to see things how they are ........ Once again another person that just trys to cause trouble on here. FFS if you think its not worth that then fine, but no need to get on here and start bad mouthing what "YOU" can get other stuff for. Talk about tyre kicking at it's best!

I've had a look at this car and although V8's are not my cup of tea this thing is in perfect condition inside and out. You are either willing to pay this (or negotiate) or you are not. If you are not I suggest you just keep your comments to yourself.

I made an offer of what I would be prepared to pay, if he had accepted the offer I would have bought the car as I am looking for an older commodore at the moment.

The comment about the SS in the tradingpost was just that a comment, to show the selling why I am offering what I am. Not saying it is necessarily better or worse just saying that its there and there are several others for sale in that general price range.

Hey I made an offer on the car, if you don't want to accept it that's fine just say so.

I never said, or meant to imply, your car wasn't worth that much or the other one was better for less, I simply made an offer of what I would be prepared to pay for a VN commodore.

I know very well that in most cases you get what you pay for but there are also some great bargains out there for those who shop around.

i can only offer u a VL exec 88mdl, 308 5 litre, new paint (white over silver), lowered, extractors, 2.5" exhaust, trimatic auto, 2500rpm hi stall converter, stage 2 shift kit, mild cam, ported & polished heads

car is a clean fast car, no rust, all straight panels, fresh paint, but i dont think u would wanna step down from a VN to a VL, but just a offer :)
