hi i got a pretty tidy rs lib for sale its gotta
move over for another one on its way :)
roughly its specs:


1991 model- black(kinda)
k&n air filter
turbo timer
tinted widows
turbosmart dual stage boost contrelloer
turbosmart type 2 bov
Exhaust - 3"mandrel bend turbo back
with a 5Zigen muffler with 5" tip
stereo sytem poineer stuff mainly
lowered 3" at front and 4" at back on custom springs
18" alba berthas with near new falken grb tyres
no rear wing - hole welded up and painted over
rolled gurads
currently got 101,000kms on motor
its been resprayed.
rebuilt gearbox only just done like this week
real head turner

dunno how much the respray costs the
fella before me got it done:)
the paint looks brand new like my girlfreiends
dad compared the paint against his brand new audi.

hate the wheels...suspension that low prolly scrubs like hell...stereo gear is dead weight....looks like you've ruined an otherwise great car....[just my opinion]...without the wheels and stereo it might even have been at a price id be interested in....shame :(

shl0ink firstly my car does not scrub at all on any part.
Stereo gear?? man its only got a couple of amps and a sub extra on top of your normal sytem it not that much more wieght..
well how bout i sell it to you without the wheels or the stereo for that price, ill be happy with that.

sorry man that came accross a bit harsh hey...im just kinda bummed coz i cant find the car that i want for the right price. i did say that it was only my opinion, but i should known better than to pay out on someone elses ride like that...everyone is entitled to do what they want to their own car...apologies again

NICE CAR!!!!! im interested. but not at that price,is the price firm???? Personally i think the wheels look pretty good. Is it manual or auto, doesnt realy matter but just interested.

The Car is back on the road this saturday so basicallny now it has a completly fresh gearbox in it :)

for 300_GTR the car is an manual. i dont think you can get aussie spec rs libs in autos...

and again im asking $17000 which is negoitiable :)

How negotiable is the price??? looking for a first car and $17k would be pushing the limits, cause i need to pay insuance etc. and another question...if you dont mind telling me, how much is your insurance, cause that is a pretty big factor at the momemt.

i got some quotes with RAC in perth for insurance on an RS...im 23 with a clean record..live in a decent suburb and the car would be under finance. it was about 1100$ full comp....same price for a silvia. both 2.0 litre turbo of the same area...so exact same price as far as they are concerned even though one is a low volume import. hope that helps.

i had a look at the rac as well and im the same as you mate i live in a decent suburb i have a completely clean reccord except im only 19 and they quoted me like 1800k for an rs if i remeber, so i dunno if they have a flat rate for under 25's or if it changes the older you get.

bit of diff between 1800 and 1100...they told me its just a sliding scale..there is no actual cut off ages like this magical 25 that everyone talks about...least not with them...older u r cheaper it gets...

well im only 19 and so you could imagine my premiums :)
my folks pay for it atm :) and i think its in the area of about $4500ish. ouch.
i found that some insurance companies do have certain cut off for there insurance. like a couple of them said they couldnt actually insure the car until i was about 25.
i am negiotiable on the price
if you want come and have a look at the car and we can try sort somthing.

btw, how much we looking at in terms of price point if you take some of the fruit off of it?? i was more inclined to get a standard rs, but depends on what sort of dollars we are looking at



in terms of insurance- gotta check out how much it'll cost me...
had some hoodrats break into my last car + a few demerit points lost might = big insurance$
