There was a bluebird at Jamboree it had plates GOT NOS...
Was this car that car?
I saw it do a run or two but it ran like 17's or something like that, what is the story behind that?

YES YOU ARE CORRECT the first run i went from 2nd into fith so i didnt bother, the second run i had heaps of wheel spin and did a 12.6 at 115.5mph on 16psi, and the last run i blew the intercooler pipe off during the burn out so that was that run....there's always a perfectly good explanation funny how only you saw the two runs that didnt work, dont be so suspicious.

Don't get ratty dude...
I just wanted to know, I did not say hey your car was crap.
There was a hell of a lot going on at Jamboree and I was not going to sit and watch drags all day long, sorry for missing your 12.6 run, but hey I heard a few people asking what the deal was with your car....
See now I can tell them that your bluey goes hard...
Congrats tho it looks really nice for a done up bluebird.
Did you punch the NOS at all when you ran the quarter? If not then how much quicker do you think she would be using it?
I did not know males were subject to PMS :p
Oh BTW there is not always a good explanation for everything..
Ciao

there's no NOS on it ,there were plans for NOS but the funds put an end to that, the engine is still needing to be tuned on c16 or elf so the potential is there but as i said before it all comes down to $$$.

She is certainly a mover man, yeah if only we were all rolling in the $$$
Funny how 99% of the rich people don't seem to like restoring older cars and showing a bit of creativity eh... Certainly more rewarding than going out and buying something that has all the hardwork already done for them.
Ciao
second time

i dont know wat series trx you have, on the series III they practically bolt straight in , yes conversion done myself, series III diff...
nah my mate is looking into a SR convo...
yeah hes got a series 3, so the eng mounts are ca, therefore sr should pop in.
was the gearbox tunnel modified?
does the trx diff handle the power?
what brakes are you running?
did u change the booster? (i think the stock one is plenty)
with the computer wiring... they simply have a power in right?
and the comp runs the rest from there...
(i have a silvia so i dont really worry bout the wiring!)
much apprieciated!
cheers

SR will not drop in man u need custom engine and G box mounts....
fire wall does not need to be modified or trans tunnel
S3 diff is strong and unbreakable in locked for for drag.
booster is fine
R31 brakes or DR30 brakes are a bolt on upgrade.
what? ca18 drops in...
then SR should cause sr into ca silvias are the same!??
Playa,
would love to have a look at your car, this convo is for a mate of mine,

cheers datto zed yes i do hate it when other people use people's threads to relieve there own gas but i guess there's no point explaining that to them cause it would just fall on deaf ears...cheers for the compliment hope you have fun in your bluey ,and yes its still f/s, I probably should have stuck an extra 10 grand on it for people to take more of an interest...
What are the trailing arm mounts like?
I know they're a weak spot for the sedans.
