I have read that when people have done a twin cam head swap onto a Nissan RB30 engine that many use the single cam engine management system.
How is this possible?
The onle way I know how they do it is if all coils were fired at once via a power transistor therefore making it a waste spark system on all the other 5 cylinder which aren't firing.
Secondly,if somehow a distributor was mounted & driven by the camshaft via a belt whilst making sure that the rotor lined up with number 1 spark plug lead whilst that cylinder was on TDC.
Has anyone else heard of or done this swap using this engine management system?
