forgot to mention the celica has a rpm heavy duty clutch installed (3000kms old) as well as MSD ignition

yeh sorta, currently has 2 4" speakers in the rear
running off an old radio/cassette, soon to have
6.5" rounds in the doors and a new Sony 50x4 head unit
and if i get really keen a 900watt amp and a 12" subby
will be leaving the 4" in the back because there is nowhere for
any bigger ones and these are really good ones anyway

i paid $2500 for mine about a month ago,
and i reckon its worth more than that considering that
all the important stuff has been replaced
ie. engine, gearbox, custom 1 piece tailshaft, disc brake diff
etc.
what engine does yours have in it??


btw I dont mind driving to halfway or whatever,
I have relatives up in brissie too.

p.s. here's a pic,
doesnt really do the car justice, i took this thru my
kitchen window so its not the best, the paint is actually pretty
good on the t18, it was resprayed by the previous owner
when all the rust was cut out.

hey looks like a nice car, is that a sunroof or part of a roof rack ?

were you thinking of putting the stereo gear in the car if you were to keep it or before the swap ?

the alpine speakers in my front doors are 6 months old but the headset and speakers are about 4 years, but hey it does the job and beats listening to cassettes

the celica has a 22re and i have a few performance parts for it such as a huge cam 297/304 , 0.413" lift and a microtech computer....i think we can work out something there if you want to

just having another think of this swap today, we will have to sign the ownership of the car in front of a justice of the peace (they are free) just so if either of us gets a fine on the way home it is sent to the right person !...

sorry i havent replied, havent been on the forums for a
few days as it was my birthday on sdaturday and ive been partying since friday night....

my mum was going to get me a head unit for my birth day
and i already have the 6.5" speakers to go in the front
but i decided not to get a good stereo for it as living in sydney
it would probably get kocked off, I still might put a cheap cd deck in but it wouldnt be sony or anything,
the car isnt exactly a performance car but it has plent of power,
its light as and very reliable too.

anyways, enough said here, check ur mail and we'll chat there,
