As above.
I have to choose between a DIS4 or a Autronic CDI unit.
The autronic is about $300 more (retail) and must be mounted in the cabin.
The MSD is Waterproof (Big +++).
BTW: I'm too tightarse to fork out for a MoTeC CDI-8 ($2500)

A mate has a dis-2 on his car, works a treat hooked up to some duel outlet coils, i would reccomend them!!

I have an autronic with the DIS4 running 4 twin post coils on my 3t-gte.
Works very well and seems to have no problems firing 2 of the 4 outputs at the same time.
cheers

TurboRA28, what did it set you back?? Why are you running wastespark with it? (Lack of outputs)
Do they come with a comprehensive manual on how to wire it up? It seem pretty simple but what sort of signal does it require to fire the CDI, does it need a certian dwell or is it a square wave.
I have got a few prices the cheapest is $800.

I now have one, i had only heard good things about MSD. Pretty simple to wire up and is about 1/3 cheaper than the next available 4 channel CDI unit.
Cost $746.50 from Rocket.
It will be implemented soon.
nice one :D
know where i can get one before friday ?
im on the gold coast.
thanks :)

DIS2 won't do the trick!!!
DIS2 = 2 coil inputs/outputs
DIS4 = 4 coil inputs/outputs, for 3 coils you simpily ground no4 input.
You need to be able to run at least 3 coil packs. (Im guessing RZ, means Supra 2JZ)
Mine took 2 weeks, Rocket got a new delivery from USA last week. Try them. If they have one it will come within 2 days.
thanks for the info.
ill get onto it.
