I just found out that Matthew Green from the Celica Car Club of Qld is selling his pride and joy, a beautifully restored 1977 RA23 Celica with a 1JZ-GTE conversion.

It's a top-notch job, fully engineered and road legal. He's transplanted everything from the donor car (Chaser) including the ABS, traction control, digital dash, A/C, P/S, full wiring harness, the works. It also has Commodore brakes up front and a Commodore rear axle conversion, both from a VS I think. I could spend all day listing the mods, but you get the idea. Note that the engine remains stock though, it hasn't even been boosted. Transmission is the stock 4-speed auto.
