View Full Version : S15 Front Caliper Pins
I notice about after 2 - 3 weeks of driving, that this pin like subject from the front calipers moves out slightly. I just push it back in like a nail after a while.
What is it? Do I need to keep pushing it back in?

Sounds like your missing a retainer pin/clip.
How far is it moving out?
It would move out approximately 2-3cm over a period of a week or two.
I just push them back in when I check tyre pressure or wash the car.

Your missing a retainer. The pins should have a small hole at the end which holds a retainer on the inner side of the caliper. Best you get one before you lose a pad.

mine are retained in with a bit of bend wire i used...
which makes it dodgy since it takes longer to change the pads.
let me know if you source a propper clip/pin since id like to get one
thanks

JT, they are right, the is the retainer clip that holds the pin in to get your pads in place. Sounds like it ain't there.
