View Full Version : Brakes for S14?
Anyone have any idea what to do for a brake upgrade for an S14? I have upgraded pads, but thats it.
I would really like a larger pair of discs for the front, unless this is a waste of time and money. Can I get better performance from an off the shelf product like dba? Any idea on aftermarket calipers up front?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Cheers

A decent set of slotted DBA rotors and pads will make a fair sort of difference. If you want to go further there are kits available for the S14 from a few kit manufacturers. These will vary heavily in price depending on the who's calipers and the number of pistons you want. It also depends on your wheel size as to how far you can go in rotor size. As an guide it is usually hard to get a rotor over 300mm under a 16 inch wheel

Any idea of kit manufacturers for an S14? I have 18" wheels, and would like to increase the size of the front rotors.

We have already done (in our group) a front upgrade using the existing 4 piston Nissan caliper and the GTR rotor DBA928.
This kit includes slotted rotors, pads, brackets and bolts as well as lines etc.
