Looks like the clutch is buuuuusted so............
roughly what kind of cost am i looking at to get a twin plate clutch for a fwd???? ($1000 ish?)
does anyone have any names of a good clutch shop/supplier in sydney?
and does anyone else know the rough cost of a clutch int~~~ in a fwd car?
thanx for any help
You'll pay well over $1000 for a twin plate clutch. Why you'd want to fit one to a fwd is beyond me but I suggest you keep saving your pennies if you intend to do it.

yeah i've had a look around and they're quite a bit more.....
the whole twin plate in a fwd surprised me as well but the mechanic and dealer both think/know the car came with one from the factory!

hahah yeah an excel could use a paper mache friction plate and be fine for at least 50K km:D
the reason the question is being asked is because the clutch is slipping under load.
any highly recommended sydney workshops?
