View Full Version : Are ford Interceptor wheels interchangeable with R33 Skyline wheels?
Im getting a light motorbike trailer made up to tow with my skyline and have the option of ether 15-inch Holden interceptor wheels or ford interceptor wheels (I think 16 inch) for a little more.
I remember hearing some where that the ford wheels have the same stud pattern and similar offset to the skyline.
Is this correct? if so it will mean I wont have to carry two spares.
Thanks

i pretty sure ford 5 stud are 114.3 x 5 same as nissan skyline, have a mate with a 200sx with ford falcon rims at the back.
while the skyline 5 stud and falcon share the same stud PCD, they may not have the same sized centre hole. check this before trying to fit up the new wheels :)
AFAIK the offset changed dramatically after the EF... if you stick with AU and afterwards, you'll be right (asides from Secoh's advice re centre bore)
I'm pretty sure all X to E series Falcons had zero offset, whereas the AU + models are similar to Nissan - 38mm or something?
It's a bit of a bummer, I reckon 12 slots would look neat on a Silvia. ;)
Thanks
Im not putting ford wheels on the skyline
I just want to be able to use the skyline slimline spare on the trailer so I don’t have to carry a spare for the trailer.
centre bore mightr be different. if thats ok then it'll be fine :)
