howdy people, well i have just had gas research twin throttle bodies installed onto my 308, now it came with two K&N pod filters, but i would like to get some cold air getting to them, my setup looks a lot similar to this one unfortunately it doesn't have the charger :(

You could use an open cold air box surrounding the pod that seals to the bonnet when closed and get some vents cut in.

the Ford TE 50 has an enclosed POD air box with snorkel. I dont wanna say to get TE50 genuine arts as they would be $$$$$$$, but its a fairly simple design. maybe go to wreckers, get urself two airboxes which are big anough to host ur PODs and attach a sorkel for a cold air feed. shouldnt be too hard ....

I would extend the inlet duct from the TB over to the font corner of the engine bay, and either put the pod over in that corner inside a custom box or at least a shield across the corner, or cut a hole in the guard and run the duct through the hole and mount the pod in the front end of the guard. This would likely mean that you have to build shielding down there anyway, so mounting it in the engine bay is probably best.

If you put the pod in the engine bay, then you also have to find a source of cold air and duct it into your custom airbox or the shielded area.....which probably means cutting a hole in the inner guard anyway.
