Honda NSR 250 2-stroke. 29000k's (less than 1000k on the new engine)
Just had a new engine put in, had abit of fun learning about oil pump settings and seized the last one.
Good running condition. Mechanically sound.
Ferrings are abit messy though, they have recently been totally re-welded (repaired) but not sprayed.....and the mis-alignment you can se betwee nthe side ferring and front cowl in these photos is a result of mybrother dropping it last week and it is currently being welded again.
We have the "learner legal" papers for it. I rode it a fair bit on my L's and so did my brother. It's no longer "techinically" learner legal since we put the kiss box in and took off the air box cover (note filter still in place). It gave it a bunch more power or course.
12mnths rego. It's just ran out and getting renewed now.
Reason for sale: My brother bought himself a CBR-RR250 and im on my blacks so it's out the door.
Note: Not for an un mechanically minded person, 2-strokes require regular maintenance, including spark plug swaps + filling the 2-stroke oil resivior ( its not pre-mix thank god).
I think it's probably safe to say it's the fastest bike your going to get on on you L's "legally" in NSW. we have the papers from the RTA after all. Greatt fun, Really good brakes.
In sydney St. George area.
