Wanted. Dirtbike in Townsville area up to $4000.
Preferably with road worthy, or able to be road worthy.
Looking at maybe XR, TT, CRM, CRF, WR.

mate looked at dirt bikes there ages ago, had some pretty good prices from what i could see.
oh yeah, he's a straight-to-the-point kinda guy. don't bullshit around :D
yeh been there.. your right.. i was there for 5 minutes or so.. i could count the number of words he said to me on one hand :D
but yeah he had nothing for me. thanks anyway

haha, thats Barry all right. He's a good mechanic though, and let me guess, the words you got were probably "ain't f*cking got none" :D
for 4000, get down to Rising Sun Honda, and out to Pickles Auctions and Fowles Auctions out near the old Coca-Cola factory, Bohle. Should be able to find plenty of bikes out there for that sort of money or less. i just picked up a 2001 Aprilia RS250 for 5500, and there were a few dirtbikes that went but i'm afraid i didnt pay much attention to the price.
a guy i was trying to sell my car to the other day also said he had a dirtbike but it was road registerable??? it was news to me, and i'm not sure why, but it might be a good idea to find out if certain models are unable to be roadworthy.
I thought I'd resuscitate this thread.. I'm on the look out again. :)
Anyone know of anything going round?

Robbo - might be a bit much, but a mate of mine has an 04 YZ125 with some protapers that's been ridden about 4 times...
I think he's after around 6 though...
yeah probably a bit on the exxy side. Im more after a scrubber than an mx bike.
Ideally an old scrubber mx bike :)
