What commonly available cars at wreckers have BARO sensors? I may need one for my next electronics project.
Cheers,
Dave

It's a barometric pressure sensor. It is used to compensate for changes in altitude etc.
A lot of MAP based cars do not use a baro sensor because they guess that people won't be generally driving through large changes of altitude too often (no baro = cheaper for car manufacturers.) To make up for the lack of a baro sensor, they read the map sensor before the engine starts, hence getting a baro reading to be used until the next time the car is started.
Cheers,
Dave
ahhh fair enough. I'm not aware of any, but there must be a car or 2 that use them...my guess would be something european due to the different terrain and altitudes of the area...
