most of the posts about these reckon they are 1:1 for 1 pound of boost 1 pound of pressure is aplied to the fuel rail.

I went to pick one up but the box said 1.7:1? are there different versions and if so is there a part number for the 1:1 reg?

I bought one a year or so ago, I think it was around the $150 mark ... but don't quote me on that. :)

I decided .7 was such a small extra increase that it wouldn't make squat difference. I paid $230 out in the sticks but they range from $180 to $220 on the net at the moment.

Truth be known, I don't quite understand the original question ... aren't they adjustable?

they are adjustable for idle pressure but the way I understood it not for the riseing rate. you need different springs/diafram for this?

The 1.7:1 is the rate!

If you raise the manifold pressure 1psi the fuel pressure will rise 1.7psi.

The base pressure setting is adjustable.

I know it's the rate. I was asking if there were other versions as most people reckon they are a 1:1 regulator.
