Oh Noes!!!
A Sweed!
välkommen Musse, I know of a few drag turbo bikes in Australia but not of any that are ridden on public roads. Would be an interesting project though.
I love the idea of turboing a VFR800, that would be awesome hehe.
that's a rather large turbocharger for a bike isn't it?

Welcome to PF :)
I love turbo bikes but I don't think I'd have the balls to ride one... kudos to those that do! And a 500kW bike?
500Kw from a 1.3 litre engine? Fair enough it is running over 30psi boost but still.

Worth a try though..
Jamie Bessina I think his name is with SRP in Sydney claimed in SPEED to have "grenaded" a stock Hayabusa engine at 485kW at the rear wheel
what edition was that in?
i have seen 504RWHP or something like that on jamies bike
its scary in the dyno room....especially the 4 foot flames :P

well it's a little hard to compare a turbo bike to a Top fuel bike since they make their power completely different. Top bike normally runs on Nitromethane, except for a few guys here in Oz, who either run a turbo bike or on Nitrous oxide.
My next motor is going to be turbo'd, got a TD04 and it's on it way to be fitted to either my GPZ1100 mod bike or my street registerable Z900, hmmm fun fun
