Its a '94 GX impreza (stock).. Not really sure where to start.. Looking at doing some cheap mods to improve performance.

whats TB..?

I was actually thinking about the air filter and the exhaust.. Any recommendations on where I should get it done?..

Well considering it is a GX, a turbo back exhaust will be expensive...

I would soley concentrate on the suspension and tyres.

Yeah. I may leave the tyres for a bit because I just picked a free second hand set.. I do definatly need the suspension checked- the front is squeeking when going over speed bumps etc..

Here is our collective wish.

Please fix the suspension and brakes (and I mean fix up any defects and then buy improvements) before you add more power.

Also, seeing as you would appear to be young and not well informed on matters automotive yet, please also strongly consider doing a driving course or two. Perferably before you add more power.

You would be surprised how much trouble you can keep yourself out of if you do things in this order.

I unecho both of you. Your lack of respect to Darwin's inviolate laws is sickening. Oh hangon the poster is in Melbourne.

Do that course, it's not just your own life you might be saviing.

And in all seriousness, I wouldn't mind betting that becoming a better driver (and I'm not saying you are a shit driver, but instead I'm saying all of us could be better to some degree sort of thing) would actually result in you being able to get more out of any car, and give more in the beginning than any moderate level of upgrades to the car would give.

Yeah thats a good point GTSBoy, Prob getting a bit ahead of myself looking at performance.. The main priority was the suspension to begin with- just having a think about what would come after that..
Cheers jmac..
