Our FSAE group as decided to go with the CBR600 for a good starting base. We will get a carbi motor and design manifolds and fuel injection to suit. I need to find as much info on the motor as possible, block, cam and head difference mostly. Anyone know a good honda bike forum?

http://fireblades.org/ has a 600 section. I think there is a cbr600rr forum out there somewhere. Have a Google.

Didn't one of the southern unis do this (UQ I think?) with a CBR600 motor as well? GlennoOfDem will know I think...

yep the CBR motor seems a easy base motor to get us into the comp. finding one will be the problem because wreckers up here want 4k for motor and box

Buy a copy of Just Bikes, should be a few in there..

only 1 cbr600, 96 model carbi and they want 4.5k for the whole bike. rendle st place
