Hey All,
I have a Honda CT125, i got it given to me as a parts bike when i bought my 185, now the owner said to me that it wouldnt go because it has dropped a timing chain, since then i have pulled off the covers, only to discover that the timing chain is in good order...I checked and made sure there was spark and compression, which there was, and the bike had fuel in the tank. But still wont start...I thought the bike would probably need a battery, as it has a space for one, but most of the loose wires around the battery holder had the ends cut off them, and im not sure what coulour wire goes where!! The 185 was no help for this...
Also, the carby was blowing fuel back towards the air cleaner, to me this would indicate sticky valves, but i pulled the carby off and looked down the port, and it seemed to be opening and shutting fine...
Any ideas how i can get the bike going!?
Thanks,
AF :)
