We have a job on at the moment which is way out of my league. I need someone that can have a look at a piece of electronics I have here and write some sort of comms program to prove it communicates with the rest of the system. I think it is RS485 and probably not a straight ASCII string. The bloke previously helping us out can't spend as much time on it as it really needs.
Anyone in Newcastle able to help me out? It'll pay by the hour (casual) but at this stage is just a one-off so if someone wants some extra cash after hours or hols this might be the go.
We often have lots of similar electronicy bits infrequently come in too, so there may be other stuff to do.
Need to be in Newcastle, or willing to come up for a few days at a time.
