Just gotten back from rally of melbourne

We had the legacy RS out and it was my brother Glen's debut in the car, and my first time ever reading pace notes. The last event the car did the race engine was cooked so we had a standard one for this event and were significantly down on horsepower.

Steep learning curve for the event and we weren't expecting much.

Going well, having heaps of fun and getting the hang of it. Then Glen got to the Don Rd intersection.

DAMN! :worship:

Got so sideways on the bitumen. Was easily the most impressive through there.

Came back to Yarra glen buzzing.

Got quicker on the next run through, gaining about 20-30 seconds each stage.

He did it again! Came ballistically through the speccy points again.

Apparently he was quickest one of the times through. Unofficially both because one time he scared the life out of the cop taking the speeds.

Finished 13th outright ARC, 3rd outright VRC and 1st P6 in both.

Funniest bit was he was wandering around service before the start asking everyone how to drive a 4wd turbo.

Day 2 was a little less successful. Got a flat on first transport. Then had pad knockoff at a horrible time and touched a bank. Car still drove fine but the tyre on that corner went flat.DNF two flats :(

Great weekend, was a real buzz in the air. Allegedally there were even car 46 banners out there on the Sunday.

|Gotta love that

If anyone has any photos/videos of car 46 (white legacy with the tiger, Raymond/Raymond) I would love to see them.

Thanks

Matt
