Interesting for a comparison... the ZX9R reeally does look like your 'do it all' sportsbike...

The honda 600f4 runs 10.88 which surprised me. I wouldnt mind one of them!

11.10@125MPH is plenty fast enough for me I think (not that I could ever probably make it do an 11.1!!)

Apparently my GSXR did a 9.92...I knew it was too fast.

Bike times will vary greatly with the rider.. I've seen modified GSXR1000's running 11's and seen a stock one reel off a string of 9.9x @ 14x passes. A combination of weight and riding ability.

Apparently the VTR will run low 11's, but I reckon I'd be flat out getting into the 11's at all.

You will also find that as with cars many popular mods help make less power & just more noise...I know that was definately the case with the GSXR.

Sif I was ever going to do a 9 or even a 10 on that...wtf was I thinking, glad I sold it.

All modern sportsbikes are just too damn quick... I have a video of a ZX-10R, stock motor except a slip-on, lowered suspension and geared doing consistent 9.3's... just crazy.

After taking my bike for a couple of nice rides, I really need to be on the ball as the roll on acceleration can get you in a lot of trouble with the law in the blink of an eye.

vrmpsh - keep in mind these are ACTUAL times, and at that end of the scale it is very hard to get a good run in.. a whole second is nothing when you're talking a 140mph bike...
