HAHAHA someone from Brisbane just called someone a redneck DING DING DING I think we have a winner.
edit: sorry I didnt notice this before (my sincerest apologies Warner) but you also either aspire to own, or do own an LS1 powered vehicle.
You better hurry, you might miss your spot on Deliverance 2.
(I dont know if they are willing to wait that much longer for the extra realism)

My SS and the RX-7 would be worth approximately 60 XF Falcons at a grand a pop. I hope that makes you feel as worthless as you are.

Ahuh, so its the old - I have more money then you, therefore I am better then you? Truly an indication of someone completely devoid of class if there ever was one.
Someone must be missing a pure genius - I never would have thought someone could be so intelligent and amazingly perceptive to ascertain someones general wealth by their nick :P
Even if you were worth 1 thousand times more then me, it would worry me exactly zero, i'd rather be eating straw then be a retard like you :)

Says at the bottom of the word document,
"At the time of applying, you are invited to indicate your expectations in terms of salary."
&
"Remuneration: A package of $35,000 per annum is available. Candidates are asked to indicate their current salary & salary expectations at the time of application."
So you can apply and just push the bar... that's why they've put it so low. They're hoping to pay someone as low as possible. My friend did something like this, applied for a job wiht the mindset that they can stick their inital offer and take his offer or leave it. He ended up getting what he asked for and they were both happy.
So I'm pretty sure it could be an $80k job right there by the looks of it...

Phwoar! I bet you light your cuban cigars with $100 notes too.
Bling bling, money aint a thing!
i don't get when jobs ask what you currently earn - what does it actually matter?
you want the job.
you're right for the job.
you get the job.
who cares what you currently earn.

Cplus: Gives them an idea of your expectations. If the person was making shit money, then the company won't offer them a heap more. Usually people want to go up in salary from each job but the company will only want to pay as little as necessary.
That's what I think anyway...
Warner: I don't have a car at the moment. Am I below worthless?

amen... salaries are to be negotiated if they want to offer you the gig... based on what you think you are worth, and what they are prepared to pay to retain you..
I had a better offer* than my current role last year, and told my current workplace what I expected if they wanted me to stay. They wanted to know what the other mob offerered, who they were, and if it was the same role... I told them it was irrelevant, and they'd better stump up if they wanted me to stay... they did after much protestation... I was happy, they got to keep me - all good...
*better offer may have been fictious.. or it may not have... who can say...:)

i just especially think asking you what you currently earn is bullshit.
"so you're on 65K now, hmm, we were going to offer 110K, but realise you will leave for anything over 75K - so we'll offer you that then shall we...."
that job has to be at least $50K worth.

indeed... I know that I won't be giving that info to a prospective new employer..it'll be 'what are you offering?" then "I think I'm worth X (X= what I really think+20%- negotiation allowance )" they counter, I counter... we reach a middle ground at hopefully X+ 5-10 %) :D
I agree- they would struggle to get anyone good for under 60 K.

They might not say it out aloud like that, but that's what happens yep. I never plan on sharing my previous salary info to an employer. I'd only bring it up if their final offer was under what I had earned before.
see i have the upper hand when i come home....
"What have you been earning C+"
"oh about a 11ty Billion AUD$ when you convert my pounds salary....."
it'll be kinda irrelevant to any scumbag (sorry cal) recruiter or potential employer.
I am s'posed to be going home to my present employer however - so this might be a completely moot point.
might....

$35k is about the mark for a first-year-out-of-uni guy/girl on the gold coast
Thanks Dan. Hopefully 17 months later they have already found someone, and given them a pay rise.
Think of all the team shirts you'd get.
CPlus, you hvae to think of it from the employer's side of the bargain. They don't want to spend $40k pa more than they have to! Imagine you are dealing with Bernie :D

Bump for pics :)
No sign of the AVESCO hotties at the round much to our displeasure
Is one of them the brunette who favours fuckmeboots? I think she's one of the Media people. Will try and snap her at OP in August.
I'll be at OP, should be a good round it'll be a shame to see the place go.
I'll make sure I come by and see you then.... probably my last V8 round for the year unless some team wants to pay my way to be their photogrpher for the weekend :)
So do we know who the sucker was that took this gig? He should be a poster boy for the industrial relations commission.
