Responsibilities
• development of a thorough, detailed, comprehensible and well-documented domain model
• assist technical architect with investigation of suitable technologies etc.
• design IT solution, and assist with its implementation
Skills
• strong analytical and problem solving skills
• strong experience with, and excellent understanding of, the design and implementation of software, in particular using object-oriented techniques; understanding of declarative programming paradigms would be highly regarded
• experience using CASE tools and UML
• good understanding of object-oriented analysis and domain modelling
• good documentation skills, in particular the inclination and ability to document designs and data models
• good communications skills, including the ability to clearly express complex and subtle ideas in written form
• degree in computer science or related field, preferably with honours
• understanding of electrical, or related, domain would be an advantage
