Hi, as above, asking for my brother. Its a 308, it has ported VN heads, big cam, gt42 running 10-15psi, a 7amp I.C.E ignition set up, 8.5 compression and will be used for street/strip. Its still using an electronic dissy.
He's wondering what spark plugs to use with this setup. So far he's been told copper plugs that are non-resister. Any insight on heat range, part no. etc would be much appreciated. Cheers.

anyone?
at a complete guess, i would definatly go coppers, and a few heat ranges colder then stock, what does non resistor mean? Because i know that if i put my plugs in a car with no CDI will just missfire all day, is this the reason?

The guy at ICE ignitions said to not use a resister plug as these can cause cross firing in the dissy cap due to the resistance in the plugs and due to the large amount of energy available the spark will follow the course of least resistance. the 'r' in the part number means resister i was told. What does the -15 on the end mean?

why buy ones that are gapped to 1.5m and then gap them to .8? A Bpr7efs should be at .8 already.

cause you cant get BPR7efs....
99% of places only stock the -15... repco dont even have a part number listed with out the -15 on them...
dont you think if i could buy them at .8 i would??
i also use TR6 but repco dont have a part listing for them but bursons do..
