Hey everyone I'm having some issues with my '91 ZXR750. I noticed at Eastern Creek the other week there was a slight drip of fuel by the sidestand. it was hardly enough to stain the concrete and it seemed to clear up so I thought it was just the drain port. however when I got home, everytime I filler it up past the main fuel stand-pipe fuel ran down onto the engine .
So I took the main fuel line off and blanked it with a bolt and sealant, this seems to be holding but now there's another problem . The tank appears to be pressurising, I opened the cap and it sprayed fuel in my face so I cleaned out the drain port (chock full of shit) and now there's a steady drip from the drain port and it still pressurises
At this point I'm fairly unimpressed and considering calling Metro's tomorrow to buy a new tank. Anyone have a better idea?
