I have another kickarse spec lappy up for grabs. This is unit is only a week old. Basically *brand new* only used for about 2 hours.

It has 3 years warranty (probably onsite too, as the 8710p is the business model)

I only bought this thing to use as a portable RFactor gaming machine, but I got a Macbook cheap so I will keep it and sell the HP.

Nafe,

It's an awesome machine, I would keep it but I have too many! and I have told enough is enough.

I'm keen on a higher res screen, but was trying to find a 15"
This one looks good, even though I'd been avoiding HP/Compaqs ;)

Is this overheating? Is so no problem at all, I played RFactor with all settings set to high for 2 hours non stop no problems.

Once I stop playing the machine was silent (no fan operation). By contrast an Asus I had a couple of years ago would bloody lockup on RFactor every 5 mins until the machine cooled down, such shame as the Asus had a an excellent video card and HDMI.

Picked up tonight - bit of a beast this thing. Found it fits in the old man's lappy bag too, so I'll steal that for now :) Cheers MZ!

that laptop is awesome.. they're near impossible to find new now. They were $2600ish a few weeks ago so half price was a bit of a steal
