OK Fuckers, here is the cheaparse rally bomb from Ebay !
Buy price was $316, and its on a one way trip to heaven this weekend.
Big thanks to those who donated generously, this has kept the cost down and the fun factor elevated.
Going to a farm of 250ac to enjoy a 40th birthday bash.
Will post pics of drunken destruction starting tomorrow.

This will be on its roof within 5 minutes with those tyres.
honest question: what donations?
that said, a 40yo man in a tophat 121 = wrong kind of midlife crisis.
that said, sweet ride, make the most of it. i heard they can be great fun to drive.
I have not done anything like this since I was 17, used to be so much fun... I remember a certain sunbird managing roll over twice and still keep going.

your first move should be to cut the roof off with an angle grinder, with the exception of a quick weld-in roll bar over the driver's head.

Thanks Tut, but its not a midlife crisis just yet. I will let you know when my cravings extend to a MX-5.....
Donations were accepted ...being multiple rally tyres....for gratis.
22 blokes flogging the crap out of a 121 Bubble will be very satisfying.
Thanks for your concern.

You do realise a bubble is made of Balsa wood and Clag glue dont you ?

All I can say is 121s roll well. And seem to cope with an amazing amount of abuse!

Those are some sweet DIY cup holders
No rollage, no significant damage, the fucking thing was the most reliable car there.
Could not kill the 1.3ltr, even constant rev limiter didnt hurt it.
Will download and post up some light entertainment.

price is?
3 Large is what i have been told to recoup....as is.
Oh, without my UHF CB.
Couple of snaps, including the Volvo 740.
Although the Volvo was a good car, it kept braking down, so was more of a pain in the arse than anything else.
Then later, we did an "Uncle" on both vehicle with one of the revelers a keen rifle enthusiast.....
Unfortunately, the bubble lost a passenger window.
It got a tattoo for being a good boy !
Then i had to do some work on the Volvo, after it shat both engine mounts...
Later it decided to tear the wiring out of the distributor.....
The food was good (3 meat spit roast).
Most patrons had a plethora of motorised toys.
One drunken patron becided it would be cool to take his 740il BMW for a "Hot Lap"
Surprisingly, no mechanical injury to the big Beemer.
And the video of the track itself and me fucking up a corner nearly into a tree.

Bullet holes are a deal braker for me...
... and maybe the fact that I wouldn't be able to use it until sometime next year!
