View Full Version : Wanted Custom Axles
Looking for places to get some custom axles priced up. They would be to suit a H233b diff from a GQ Patrol.
They would be some friends Comp Patrol - here's an old photo

cottam engineering in Berrigan NSW can make and harden axles etc in house, they made their own diff, axles and gearbox for their tractor pull tractor which is powered by a twin turbo, Motec M800 equiped double overhead cammed 27litre RR Merlin V12 running 30 psi boost, Albins off road in Ballarat can make custom CVs and axles, they supply a lot of axles to V8 supercars etc, and are official suppliers of V8 supercar transaxles as of 2013
Spoke to someone at Bosnjak Engineering today, what I thought would be a 2-3 minute conversation, ended up being 20 minutes conversation - very interesting discussion, a couple of options available with some rough pricing. Basically the next step would be to take a set of axles/housing up to get measured for pricing.
Thought about Rob at ACT Diff Dr but wasn't sure that he would be making them, just out sourcing them.
Going to see how the original guy goes getting them made, but there are a couple of options now available. So we'll see what happens.

If your going to Tuff truck ill get my bro to have a chat to ya to see if he can help out.
What sort of coin would you expect to pay for a pair of GT40 shafts? They are about a foot long and we have the CV's already.
Another vote for bosnjak. Top work, good pricing and now their stuff.
