Been researching what I can put in terms of speakers...Doors already come pre-cut to suit 6.5" speakers, but the magnet needs to be shallow to clear...

Bought Some Kickers 6.5" speakers which sounded pretty awesome at JB HiFi and for $68 bux couldnt pass....but of course it didnt clear! I need at least 5mm spacer...can you get this off the shelf??

Also unpacked the sidesteps and brush bars. Probably put them on next month.

And finally put in the late model console...its an expensive item as its reallly rare for a manual, as it only came in 97+ models, and they are discontinued. Found this one, and found another in Japan 2 days later..so bought both!

If you want more space in your doors for a set of nice splits hit these guys up. I planned to order some for old white sahara, but they were taking a break at the time. But now they are back running again :) https://www.facebook.com/landcruiserpodsaus/

In the end it fits real good, about 1mm off the dash when the door is closed.

Also bought a BOSS kit foe a steering wheel I have been trying to find for ages. I gotta pick it up tonight, but couldnt resist, installed it, and put on the Nardi Deep Corn 330mm from the Supra lol...so shit to drive with a small wheel!

Made the short trek today to the National Park. A little Fire trail, which is not too challenging, but nice to explore.
Gate was locked, so we crawled down some steep decent over some rocks to get in (The other end was open, so you could enter from that way). First time testing the tyres, still had 40psi in them, and they were still sensational!!

Do you have access to more of those rear OEM dust deflectors? How do they attach? similar to the aftermarket ones that have tape on the top and then little brackets with screws on the sides?

                        Comment

yeah thats right, and then two hinged brackets that sit on top.

I can get them from Japan, but over $500 now!
Installed the trim ring so the horn fits!! Loving this wheel!

$500 ouch - guessing that is used too, not new?
They look better than the versions we get here though, so if you stumble upon some, let me know.

Random question, but could I trouble you for an accurate chassis rail thickness measurement?
