Porsche 934 Rep. Ex Porsche Cup car

So was going through the car for sale worth mentioning thread when I found this little gem. I wasnít in the market for another 911 and to be completely honest even I didnít know at 9am that I was going to buy one at 10am.
I called the owner Bruce to get some more details. He seemed like a genuine bloke who loved a chat. He was selling due to some pressure from the wife around recent health issues.
He was pretty honest in his appraisal of the car that it was 10 foot good as you would expect for a car that had been a race car since the early 1990ís. Mechanically it was in good condition with only around 25hrs on the engine since a full rebuild.
Iíll post more details on the driveline once I pick the car up. Iím leaving Newcastle at 3am tomorrow morning to drive the 10hrs to Noosa. We will pick it up then go to Alís for a beer and rest then drive home Sunday. I should also give Al a shout out for going and looking at the car for me through the week just to check my 10 foot good was the same as Bruceís. Thanks again man.

Quick details on the car are 3.4ltr stroker motor with a GT3 crank and twin plug heads GT35 turbo. G50 box with LSD and custom ratios. Makes a little over 400RWHP.
Body is based on a 1977 911 with 934 flares carbon doors, bonnet and guards and an extensive roll cage.
Wheels. Well it come with 5 sets of wheels. Everything from E50 16Ē BBS to 18Ē Simmons.

Iím not sure of my plans for it yet. Iíll pick it up get it home give it a good tidy up and make it look more 1970ís Porsche race car cool then look for some events to do.

Front end bracing is porn. Road registered too!

That looks like a heap of fun, especially being road going.
Why does every race car have wiring that looks like it was done with whatever was at hand in the pits in under 15 minutes?
I'm guilty of doing it, but I always tidy it up - eventually!

Lots of minis & mokes including a G13b powered Sports Sedan, a couple of Swift Gtis, a Goggomobil, Porsche 928S, Polo Gti, BMW 540i, a WRX and a few others.

Yeah the very first job is cleaning that stuff up and getting rid of all the old brackets that are redundant and the like. I actually really enjoy doing that kind of thing so Iím looking forward to it.

Should provide hours if fun on and off the track.

No doubt you'll have this looking 1 foot good fairly quickly and sell it for a tidy profit ;)
